EL DOMINICANO DARLENE THE GOURMET DIVA'S VERSION OF THE CUBAN SANDWICH


DARLENE tHE GOURMET DIVA'S VERSION OF 
THE CUBAN SANDWICH


INGREDIENTS



  • 2 tbsp of butter or margarine
  • 4-8 hero sized breads or rolls, (French bread, Kaiser rolls,or heroes)
  • 1tbsp of or ANY all purpose seasoning DARLENE’S SAUTÉED SOFRITO * ALL PURPOSE MARINADE PASTE AND SPREAD 
  • 1lb deli sliced roast beef
  • ½ lb deli sliced hard salami
  •  ½ lb deli Salsalito turkey (or favorite)
  • 1 lb Swiss cheese
  •  ½ kosher dill pickles sliced thinly
  • 3 squirts for each hero mustard, 2 if using rolls and zero if you wish
  •  1 TBS mayonnaise for each 
  • Salt, pepper, to taste



 DARLENE THE GOURMET DIVA SAYS:

1.   In a medium pan, Heat butter, add DARLENE’S SAUTÉED SOFRITO * ALL PURPOSE MARINADE PASTE AND SPREAD (pg 1) you don't make your own just season the roast beef like you would any meat. (Remember it’s already cooked you do not want tough beef let alone a dry sandwich)
2.   Add roast beef, salami (on top the amount u would add of bacon like 3  slices per hero
3.   Add , turkey and pickles cook for 1 minute to let the flavors simmer
4.   Add enough slices of Swiss to cover the top of the meat and immediately turn off stove. (Approximately 4 of the slices)
