Darlene The Gourmet Diva's Super Easy Cobbler

Yummy and ALWAYS A HIT


Ingredients:

·       1 stick butter
·       1 cup self rising flour
·       1 Cup milk
·       ½ Tsp Cinnamon powder
·       1Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
·       1 ¼ Cups of sugar
·       1Tbsp Cognac or Brandy
·       2 cups berries thawed
·       ¼ Cups of sugar additional for top of cobbler

According to Darlene the Gourmet Diva:

·       Melt  butter in microwave (set aside)
·       Combine sugar and cinnamon pour into a mixing bowl
·       Add self-rising flour into the bowl.
·       Whisk in 1 cup of milk, Vanilla Extract and liquor
·       Add melted butter and Stir well
·       Butter a baking dish
·       Pour batter into buttered baking dish.
·       Add 2 cups of berries pour evenly over top of batter
·       Now, sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar evenly over  top of cobbler
·       Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until golden
·       Sprinkle an additional teaspoon of sugar over the cobbler 10 minutes right before it is ready to come out of the oven
·       Cool before serving
·       Top with ice-cream
